1. The dates for the executive board meetings for next term were decided. The first meeting will be at 12:30 PM on September 19, 2002 at Aviation High School. Lunch will be served. The next executive board meeting will be on January 9, 2003. Tentatively to be held at Aviation but this may be changed at a later date to be at Lincoln or Midwood.
2. The dates for the general meetings for next year have been determined as:
October 17

**December 12 (this might be changed due to Staff Development Day on December 13)
February 27 (If Texas Instruments is available, otherwise no February meeting)
March 13
April 10
May 22
All Dates Are Subject to Confirmations
** Please note Joni Selman has been contacted as of June 6, 2002 and is only available for December 5th. Please change the date in your calendars.
3. The sponsor and professional topics for each meeting was decided and the person to confirm each sponsor was chosen. A summary of these decisions are listed in the table below.
4. Sharon Hoosak had a concern that all the presentations are done by executive board members, which for the most part are the better schools. In order to involve more AP’s across the city committees should be formed to look at software, textbooks, Math A & B revisions and any other topics that would be of interest for future professional topics. It was agreed that this should be pursued next year.
5. Danny Jaye knows one of the Regents at the SED in Albany. Danny will be calling that person to ask if they will address AMAPS at one of our meetings. If this person is available, he/she will have his choice of meeting dates, and might possibly be the professional topic for that meeting.
6. A list of all executive board members and their email addresses appears below. If a member did not give their e-mail address to Stacey Torres during the meeting the e-mail listed below was taken from the AMAPS directory. If an address is not correct please contact Stacey and she will update the list so it can be distributed in September.
